Join us on Wednesday, July 13 at 7 PM as we kick off our artist application process.
This gathering will include :
- Information on Creative City Project 2016
- How to apply and the initial application process.
- Discovering what makes a successful public performance as part of this outdoor, signature event
- Getting to know more artists from our community and beyond
More than 800 dancers, musicians, performance artists, installation artists, new media aritists, and visual artists participated in 2015, and that number grows as we approach another exciting event in 2016.
On October 15, 2016, more than 1,000 artists will gather in Downtown Orlando to bring our city to life. We want to partner with you to create a unique creative encounter that audience can't have anywhere else.
From emerging artists just starting off to the likes of Cirque du Soleil, Orlando Ballet, the Central Florida Community Arts Orchestra, and the Orlando Philharmonic, the Creative City Project showcases the artists of Central Florida and beyond.
Together, we are literally transforming our city as we elevate it as a truly Creative City!
It'll be a fun night. If you've been part of our arts community for decades or you're just getting involved, this night will not only connect you with Creative City Project 2016, it will be a great night to see old friends and make some new ones.
